The Chippewa Watershed Conservancy gladly accepts donations put toward a specific purpose. When you give via Network for Good (online), or by mail-in check or money order to PO Box 896, Mount Pleasant, MI 48804, you can specify how you would like your donation applied.
You are members; you are stewards of the land. We are in this together. All donors automatically receive our newsletter, invitations to events, and email updates. Whether quietly supporting us or celebrating your CWC pride, the satisfaction of knowing you are a stakeholder invested in what we do makes all the difference to us.
Even More Ways to Give…..
Help the CWC While You Shop!
Igive.com is an internet “mall” that donates a portion of any sale that originates from its website as a percentage to the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy. Igive.com created a program in which retailers donate a percentage of each sale made through Igive.com to a registered charitable organization of the shopper’s choosing. When shopping online, shop via www.iGive.com/cwc-mi. Follow the steps to set up your shopping experience as a CWC supporter. When you make a purchase from one of more than 700 retailers registered with iGive.com, including Dell, REI, Timberland, Land’s End, and many others, a portion of their proceeds is then credited to the CWC. Just select “Chippewa Watershed Conservancy” as the cause you are supporting. Click on the participating retailer of your choice, and you are taken directly to the retailer’s site. Purchase the products you need, and help the CWC at the same time.
ICDC Thrift Shop
Donating to the ICDC Thrift shop (307 S. Mission in Mt. Pleasant, across from Little Caesar’s Pizza) is a great way to help the CWC raise funds for conservation while encouraging the reuse of unwanted items. ICDC will donate 50% of consignment sales to the CWC for items donated on our behalf. Include a note stating the donation is for the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy and account number ‘C-62′. Also print ‘C-62′ on the outside of the bag. Items can be dropped off on hangers (suit, formal, etc.). A note with ‘Chippewa Watershed Conservancy C-62′ must be attached to the hanger or garment. The Thrift Shop accepts fall/winter clothing until March 15 and Spring/Summer clothing until September 15. Clean and press items in good repair and fold neatly in a bag. They also accept footwear, linens, dishes, small appliances, and other small items. They do not accept furniture or large appliances due to limited space. Books are accepted but not on consignment. Click here for more information via the ICDC Facebook page.
