Ken retired in 2011 after 22 years at American Mitsuba Corporation as the Information Systems Director. Ken joined the Friends of the Dog Park (FDP) Board of Directors when it was organized in 2012.
‘Retirement Hobbies’ for Ken include walking the dog 3-5 miles a day, photography, tennis and reading. Ken continues to serve on the FDP board, was the fundraising chairman for the Phase I construction of the park which formally opened on July 18th, 2015. He recently was appointed to the City/Township/FDP Advisory Board which will provide recommendations for future changes to the dog park policies and procedures.
Ken and his wife, Andi have a 9 year old Whippet/Doberman mix who loves to socialize with dogs and people. They have two children, Nick and Mary, son-in-law Thiago and 2 grandchildren.
